Kangana Ranaut has always taken on interesting projects and one of her films we are desperately looking forward to is the one with director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. She plays the role of a kabaddi player in the flick. It also stars Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta. Today, the production house Fox Star Studios and director Ashwiny revealed the title through an innovative video that revealed how we can conquer the world if we have our loved ones by our side. Ashwiny has proved that she is a fine story-teller with projects like Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi. In the video, we can see some adorable pictures of the actors and filmmaker with their families.

In a statement, Kangana Ranaut said, “When Ashwiny narrated the film’s story, I was completely moved. My family has been my pillar of strength and have always stood by me through thick and thin. I could really relate to the emotions of the film. Plus, Ashwiny is known for her slice-of-life films and I loved her recent work in Bareilly Ki Barfi. Panga is even more special for me as, for the first time, I will be playing the role of a National-level Kabaddi player. That’s going to be challenging for sure! I am looking forward to some exciting times with Ashwiny and the Fox Star team.”

Kangana also has Mental Hai Kya with Rajkummar Rao and Anurag Basu’s Imali in her kitty. In a statement, Kangana said, “It’s too early to talk about Imali as we are starting the film around the end of the year. All I can say is that Anurag is my godfather and everything I am today is because of him I can’t wait to go back to the beginning.” With director Krish getting busy with the NTR biopic, Kangana is overseeing a lot of the post-production work of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
